Basic sentences

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog again. Today, we will learn to construct a basic sentences. Like mentioned in my previous post 'Perkenal diriku ini', the basic statement sentence form is:


(SUBJECT) wa (ADVERBS/NAME/ADJECTIVES) desu


example
ここ   (は)   日本   で す       This is Japan
koko    (wa)    Nihon    desu


サッカー   (は)   面白い   です             Soccer is interesting
sakka    (wa)    omoshiroi    desu



While for negative statement, simply change 'desu' into 'dewa arimasen' (ではありません). example:

ここ   (は)   日本   ではありません    This is not Japan
koko    (wa)    Nihon    dewa arimasen


サッカー   (は)   面白い   ではありません    Soccer is not interesting

sakka    (wa)    omoshiroi    dewa arimasen




For negative statement, alternatively we also can use 'ja arimasen' (じゃありません) instead of 'dewa arimasen'. Any queries, please give a comment
